Steve Carb wanted to compete in the Pizza Olympics but realized he didn’t have a reliable practice tool.

Early 1990s –
The First Generation

Steve refined the plastic formula into a durable practice dough.
- Throw Dough spread by word of mouth among pizza acrobats, chefs, and restaurant trainers.

2005 – The Titan Is Born

The U.S. Pizza Team needed a larger dough option for advanced tricks.

Steve invented the Throw Dough Titan, a bigger, heavier model used for power tricks and stage performances.
2005–2010 – National Competitions

Throw Dough became the official competition dough for the Throw Dough National Championships.
