Register for the Junior Throw Dough Championship - August 10th, 2011 - Orlando, Florida $40 (admission for two included) Due to age restrictions contestants must register before August 30.

Our current champion is Sam Niemeier, 4-time Throw Dough National Champion
Sam practices every day for a week before for his competition. He has taught his older brother how to spin too! He would like to own a small pizzeria using only top quality ingredients and be a mechanical engineer like his dad.

Junior Throw Dough Championship Rules
- Contests have 3 minutes to perform a pizza spinning routine to the music of their choice.
- Only Throw Dough products are allowed including Regular, Xtreme and Titans.
- Contestants must be between 6-15.
- The routine may not exceed 5 minutes.
- The registration fee is $40 and includes admission to the show for the contestant and one adult guest (admissioon for two valued at $80).
- Judging - Performance will be scored on a 10-point scale by three to five judges. A perfect score would earn ten points from each category. The three categories will be Originality, Presentation and Difficulty of routine. Each category counts for 10 points, making a total of 30 possible points. (Originality: Creative in routine, music, new approaches to tossing, new tricks. Presentation: entertainment value, choreographed, smoothness, connection with the audience. Difficulty: variety of tricks, difficulty of tricks)
- Sound system will be provided; you must provide your own music on a CD or an mp3 player.
- Contestants must be ready to be judged at the scheduled time.
- Top three winners of each division win a Throw Dough prize pack worth $70, $40 and $20 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively. 1st place becomes a Junior member of the U.S. Pizza Team.
